In this session, building on the rhythmic combination patterns learned in the previous lesson and the written melodic line, we will practice and perform Piece 5 from the Playpan collection together
Focus on rhythm reading and timing accuracy throughout the exercise. Start by practicing slowly to ensure precision and proper hand coordination. Once comfortable, gradually perform the piece along with a backing track at the original tempo, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the melodic flow and expressive dynamics of the composition
This lesson emphasizes the importance of handpan practice, note reading, timing mastery, and rhythmic control, helping you develop both technical skill and musical expression. By repeatedly practicing these patterns, you enhance your handpan performance, coordination between hands, and overall musical creativity
