Backing tracks for this session
In this practice, following previous rhythmic pattern exercises and learning various handpan notes, we will focus on practicing and performing Piece 4 from the Playpan collection
This piece is a 4-beat composition that incorporates quarter notes, eighth notes, dotted eighth notes, sixteenth notes, and eighth rests. Pay close attention to rhythm reading and ensure each note and rest is executed accurately
Due to the use of alternating hand technique in this piece, you may encounter some challenges initially. Begin practicing slowly and with high focus, then gradually move to the original tempo. This approach will help you master the piece while fully enjoying its rhythmic structure, melodic flow, and handpan expression
