About the Pan Belt
From the very beginning of our journey in building, playing, and teaching the handpan — with the goal of advancing the development of this instrument — the idea of creating a device that would allow players to perform while standing and walking fascinated us. The rich rhythmic qualities of the handpan, combined with the natural rhythm transferred to a musician’s body while moving and playing simultaneously, could create an extraordinary rhythmic sensation, evoking a sense of freedom and dance for the player.
Creating this stand was extremely challenging and involved several key difficulties:

It had to be able to support the weight of the instrument to prevent it from falling and getting damaged.

It should not compromise the clarity and resonance of the handpan’s sound.

It needed to allow access to the notes located on the underside of the instrument.

It had to exert minimal pressure on the player, allowing full freedom of movement and preventing fatigue.

It needed to maintain the dynamic sound quality even while walking.

It had to be as lightweight, simple, practical, and portable as possible — and, of course, of exceptional quality.
Finally, for the first time in the world, we successfully created this unique stand and named it the Pan Belt.Today, we are proud to introduce it as another high-quality product from the Panersia brand.The creation of this product, using proper engineering principles, was only made possible through our collaboration with Chaman Company, and it involved tremendous effort and dedication throughout the development process.
