Backing tracks for this session

Lesson 15: Performance of the First Piece with Backing Track

Now it’s time to perform the first piece from the PlayPan collection together. In this session, we will also experience using a backing track for the very first time, allowing you to practice along with background music and get accustomed to performing in a more dynamic and musical environment

This piece is written in a 3/4 time signature, with each measure containing three quarter notes that form the foundation of the melodic line. Pay close attention to finger placement during your practice, as correct finger positioning is crucial for executing pieces smoothly and efficiently. Proper finger technique ensures that your hand movements remain relaxed, precise, and expressive, giving you greater control over the instrument

By practicing along with the backing track, you will develop timing, rhythm consistency, and musical expression, making the practice more engaging and enjoyable. This exercise not only strengthens your technical skills but also introduces you to the experience of performing in a real musical context, enhancing your confidence and creativity on the handpan
