In this session, we focus on time signatures and their crucial role in music. Time signatures indicate the rhythmic structure of a piece, showing how many beats are in each measure and which note value represents one beat. Understanding time signatures is essential for accurate rhythm, timing, and musical expression, whether you are playing handpan, piano, or any other instrument
We will also explore symbols and notations specific to the handpan. Each symbol carries a unique meaning and guides how a note or pattern should be played. Learning these notations helps you interpret sheet music more effectively, ensuring that your performance captures the intended rhythm, dynamics, and expression of each piece
