The piece ahead is a 2/4 time signature composition, designed to help you explore musical combinations and rhythmic patterns. Structurally and thematically, it is directly related to the previous pieces, as they share a common musical theme. One of the main features of this piece is the use of passages, which you have practiced in earlier lessons. These passages are executed in a cohesive and flowing manner, perfectly aligned with the 2/4 rhythm of the piece

Additionally, this piece incorporates Drag ornaments, a distinctive handpan technique that adds musical depth and character. These ornaments elevate the piece beyond simple patterns, giving it a fresh and expressive sound while enhancing your overall performance

 

Performance Tips:

  1. Focus on passages and drag ornaments: Practice them slowly and calmly before attempting the full piece.

  2. Maintain the 2/4 rhythm: Ensure that each melodic and ornamental element aligns with the underlying beat for smooth execution.
