The upcoming piece represents one of the most common and essential forms in handpan (hang drum) performance, where one hand maintains a steady rhythmic pattern while the other explores varying melodic phrases. This approach is fundamental for creating dynamic and expressive handpan music, allowing performers to combine rhythm and melody seamlessly

Pay close attention when reversing hand positions across different measures to ensure that stroke intensity and dynamics remain balanced, preserving the musical flow and clarity of the piece. Proper control of soft and accented strokes is key to expressive execution

For optimal results, begin each exercise at a slow tempo with precise hand placement, gradually increasing speed as you gain confidence and consistency.
